The ambassador Aramaz, in his address, highlighted the significance of education in his remarks. “It’s been a couple of weeks since I arrived in Afghanistan. And this is my first time here at this school. I’m very much impressed indeed. Our relations with Afghanistan are based on love, respect and welfare. Education is without a doubt the most instrumental factor in furthering these relations,” Aramaz remarked.

Deputy Chair Ezidyar said Afghan-Turk Schools have brought in a quality education. “The schools are offering a quality education. Besides, they have reinforced the existing close relations between the two nations. Our nation would like to have more of Afghan-Turk Schools. We would like you to do whatever it takes,” Ezidyar added.

Concluding his speech, Ezidyar announced the Afghan Upper House bestowed the Parliamentary Medal of Honor on Afghan-Turk Schools. He presented the award to the schools’ board president, Erdogan. “The parliament sent a certificate of appreciation too, in order to mark the ceremony. I would like to personally present both to you,” Ezidyar added.

Erdogan, in return, said, “The 107 fresh graduates will be hopefully able to study at quality universities in Afghanistan and abroad. We wish that they return their countries after graduation and raise this beautiful country to where it deserves in the world.”
