Samples of Kimse Yok Mu Ramadan Aid Activities Worldwide (5)

Kimse Yok Mu (KYM) has delivered aid worldwide as a part of its Ramadan campaign.

Iftar Dinner in Madagascar in its wintertime

Madagascar is the fourth-largest island in the world situated off the southeastern coast of Africa. The country, which gained its independence in 1960, currently has a population of 20 million. KYM foundation continues to deliver its aid to this island country like it did during every past Ramadan.

KYM volunteers, who spared no effort to aid Madagascans living in wintertime -as the country is located on the southern hemisphere- hosted those in need and particularly the homeless at iftar dinners in the capital city Antananarivo throughout Ramadan. The joy of the homeless able to break their fasts with hot meals at iftar dinners for two hundred daily at the cold winter nights was well worth seeing.

The volunteers cheered up the orphans with gifts of clothing, stationery and food in several orphanages they visited, on the other hand. The orphans said “Thank you, KYM!” in unison.

Cambodia

Kimse Yok Mu Foundation organized iftar dinners in addition to providing aid packages for those in need throughout the month of Ramadan in Cambodia.

The foundation distributed over 400 aid packages to particularly the old and orphans residing in various places, ranging from pagodas (Buddhist temples) to homeless shelters, regardless of their faith.

Upon receiving the packages, the Buddhists monks expressed their gratitude for the aid from Turkey. The Muslim recipients similarly sent prayers to Turkey.

In addition, KYM held iftar dinners in several cities of Cambodia. Over 1,200 people came together at iftar dinners held at mosques and various venues.

The Kimse Yok Mu Foundation made the Orphans of Tunisia Smile

The Kimse Yok Mu Foundation brought the orphans of Tunisia together for an iftar program.

A total of 200 people, including 75 orphans and their close ones, joined in the iftar program that was held in the Mennube region of the capital city Tunus. The officials of the Mercy Foundation for Protecting Orphans also took part in the iftar program, and feelings of thanks were expressed to Kimse Yok Mu.

During his speech, the Kimse Yok Mu volunteer for Tunisia, Eyüp Yaşar, said, “Ramadan is the month of sharing, the month of brotherhood. We decided to organize such an iftar program so that we could breathe in and share the same atmosphere with our brothers and sisters.”

At the end of the program the orphans were handed Eid (festival) presents while their families were given packages of festival desserts. At the same time, the Mercy Foundation for Protecting Orphans presented Kimse Yok Mu with a certificate of thanks and appreciation.

This year in Ramadan the Kimse Yok Mu Foundation delivered aid to 400 Tunisian families in need. Different distributing activities were organized in the cities Sidibuzid, Binzart, Menzel Bourgiba and in different parts of the capital Tunus.
