Kimse Yok Mu (KYM), set to reach out to 103 countries as a part of its Ramadan campaign, continues to deliver aid worldwide.
Kimse Yok Mu Foundation Brought the Joy of Ramadan to Senegal’s 14 States
In order to deliver the donations of charitable persons to their rightful owners, the volunteers of the Kimse Yok Mu Foundation turned their direction to Senegal this time. In 14 states, the volunteers distributed provisions to 6000 families in need and served iftar dinner to 4000 people.
As part of a Ramadan aid organization, the volunteers of the Kimse Yok Mu Foundation went to Senegal, where there is widespread unemployment and poverty especially in the rural parts of the country, and brought smiles across the faces of many individuals. Going to a total of 14 states, they gave out 6000 Ramadan provision packages and served iftar dinner to 4000 people.
An orphan in Senegal has a right to only 6 morsels of food a day!
In Senegal, more than 500 thousand orphans are struggling to continue on living in unfavorable and harsh conditions. As the Kimse Yok Mu volunteers visited a number of orphanages, they found the opportunity to observe and evaluate these orphanages on location. After witnessing the tragic situation of in one of the orphanages they visited, where 250 orphans were trying to live in a space with a capacity of only 60 and where the children only had a right to 6 morsels of food a day, the volunteers took action to satisfy the needs of the orphans. Officials of the Kimse Yok Mu Foundation made contact with the officials of the orphanage and are now making preparations to deliver aid to the children of the orphanage in light of their request for help.
Kimse Yok Mu Foundation Continues its Aid to the Syrian Refugees
In addition to its long time aid to the Syrian refugees the Kimse Yok Mu Foundation continues to make the refugees smile through the significant support of the South African Jamiatul Ulema.
The hands that unite in charity came together to help the Syrians who have taken refuge in Turkey after fleeing from their war-stricken country. Wanting to repay its debt of loyalty, at least to some extent, to the Kimse Yok Mu Foundation for its aid to South Africa, the Jamiatul Ulema came to Turkey and, with support from the Kimse Yok Mu Foundation, is distributing aid to the refugees in six different locations.
The volunteers aim to distribute blankets and provisions to 5000 Syrian refugees through the aid efforts in Gaziantep, Kilis, Nizip, Yayladağı, Reyhanlı and Akçakoca and wish to convey to the refugees the blessing and plentitude of the month of Ramadan. The volunteers of the Kimse Yok Mu Foundation will continue to stand by the Syrian refugees.
Once Again, the Kimse Yok Mu Foundation did not forget the Orphans of Sri Lanka this Ramadan
With the occasion of the month of Ramadan, the volunteers of the Kimse Yok Mu Foundation visited an orphanage in Sri Lanka, home to 15 children, and experienced moments full of emotion and sentiment.
The volunteers gave out presents such as dolls, cars and balloons to 15 orphan children, whose ages ranged from 3 to 15. Later on, as the volunteers engaged in various games and activities with the children they spent moments of unforgettable beauty and togetherness and went on to share the same tables for an iftar dinner. Having experienced the beauty of Ramadan, the happiness of the children was shining in their eyes.
Working, also, especially on the education of the orphans, the Kimse Yok Mu Foundation, having developed various educational projects that will help them progress positively, is playing an active role in ensuring that they are more equipped in starting their lives.
Kimse Yok Mu food aid for 40 thousand Afghans
Kimse Yok Mu Foundation provided food aid for 40 thousand Afghans in need in the capital Kabul.
Ramadan aid packages transported from Turkey have been distributed in 50 different refugee camps in Kabul. In the country afflicted with famine as severely as Somalia, four million are living on the hunger threshold.
The foundation has hosted one thousand people at daily iftar dinners in Kabul. It also provided food aid for 40 thousand living in refugee camps of shanties.
The foundation has been providing aid for the needy particularly in Sibirgan, Mazar-i Sharif, Herat, Kandahar and Jalalabad since 2003. This year’s aid packages consist of rice, tomato paste, bean sugar, oil and tea. The country is receiving most aid from Turkey.
