Volunteer doctors have conquered the hearts of Libyan patients

KYM volunteer doctors are working in East African countries, such as Somalia and Uganda, and in Libya their works became a solution for patients in need.

Volunteer doctors worked at Benghazi Havari Hospital and Aljala Hospital for a week giving outpatient examinations and a variety of surgical operations.

Doctors also gave training to senior students at the Benghazi Medical Faculty in various branches including: Chest Diseases, Trauma Surgery,Endoscopic Sinus Surgery for Ear - Nose and Throat.After the health checks and training, the volunteer doctors returned to Turkey and expressed great satisfaction of having gone to countries in need and doing their work.

KYM Association Health Benefits Specialist Veysel Kayabası said, "With KYM the volunteer doctors went to Somalia, Uganda, Sudan, Ethiopia, Libya and other countries and fulfilled their obligations to their consciences. In some places, one doctor can be the healing cure for hundreds of people. Many countries are requesting KYM for health aid and as KYM we would like to expand the scope of our organizations.
