The Balochistan High Court (BHC) on Tuesday suspended the federal government’s order to deport Turkish staffers of the Pak-Turk schools and their family members to Turkey.
The divisional bench of the BHC, comprising Chief Justice Muhammad Noor Maskanzai and Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan, issued notices to officials of the federal interior ministry and directed them to appear before the court in the next hearing of the case. Nadir Chalgari, the counsel for Turkish staffers, pleaded before the court that deporting teachers was a clear violation of basic human rights.
