Fethullah Gulen’s books were on display at Sweden’s largest book fair saw large interest from book enthusiasts.
The Stockholm-based intercultural dialog center Dialogslussen was among the participant of this year’s book fair that took place on September 25 thru 28 in Gothenburg. The institution’s stall partnered with Tughra Books and Blue Dome Press attracted a large number of enthusiasts. Its president Omer Eken said, “A good number of book lovers have visited our stalls over the past four days. They also had the chance to watch traditional calligraphy demonstration by the calligraphy artist Aydin Cinar from Turkey. Books on Sufism and those by Fethullah Gulen as well have been among the best sellers at our stalls.”
Additionally, the Swedish author Klas Grinell signed his book “Islam and Me” at Dialogslussen for three days and met with readers. Sweden’s former consul general to Istanbul Ingmar Karlsson also visited and bought books the stalls.
The country’s largest book event in its 30th year now attracts some 100 thousands book enthusiasts annually.
