Kimse Yok Mu Foundation in cooperation with the local Compassion Foundation has recently launched a vocational training center for the Albanian women. The center is named after the miniature artist Gunseli Kato. Comprised of studios and galleries, the center will offer training in 20 different departments.
The artist Gunseli Kato, who has contributions in the center’s establishment, said “My daughter, Aycan, had been to Sudan with Kimse Yok Mu. She was a brand new person when she’s back after 5 days. She told me everything she had experienced there, which struck me pretty much. So I decided to be involved in these admirable efforts.”
“I was earlier informed by Kimse Yok Mu on the scheduled activities of the center intended for the Albanian women. Then I decided to make a contribution myself and came to see its activities on site. I was absolutely amazed to see the extent of the efforts, which was well beyond my expectations. I was delighted and touched by all that’s been done.” Kato went on to reveal that she herself will be giving occasional classes.
Compassion Foundation’s Board President, Dr. Blendi Cekrezi, noted that so many troubled individuals around the world are turned a blind eye today. “With this center, we aim to stand by our fellow Albanians who are broken hearted and sad. We are going to offer vocational classes to widows, orphans and homeless and thus help them socially and economically integrate into society,” Cekrezi said.
