“The Broken Jug” now in the languages of the world

The Broken Jug sermons which are broadcast on the Internet every Monday will, from now on, not be limited to only the Turkish language. The website fgulen.com, which broadcasts the sermons of Fethullah Gulen, has just recently launched another innovation.

The nine-item inquiry proposed by five CDU (Christian Democratic Union) deputies to Baden Wurttemberg State Assembly has been responded by Ministry of Integration in cooperation with Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Office of the Prime Minister Undersecretary and Ministry of Education. Through the answers, the public, once again, has been affirmed that the Turkish-initiated schools have no hidden agenda. In addition, the report revealed that the Hizmet Movement (Gulen Bewegung) is not under Office for the Constitution Protection scrutiny and that the state government is in a constructive dialogue with the movement’s volunteers.

PM's adviser says Karayılan's words on Oslo leaks, Uludere ‘baseless'

The prime minister's chief adviser, Yalçın Akdoğan, said in remarks to Today's Zaman on Sunday that terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) commander Murat Karayılan was "lacking grounds" in making claims about the leaking of the Oslo talks and the Uludere tragedy in 2011.

A two-day symposium during which Islamic scholars from 80 countries exchanged views about ijma, an Islamic term meaning religious consensus, took place in İstanbul over the weekend with participants discussing methods of achieving consensus and stressing the importance of solidarity and cooperation in solving global problems.
