The
Institute of Interfaith Dialog, which operates in the Southern states of USA, has set the subject of its traditional “Annual Dialog and Friendship Dinner and Award Ceremony” for this year as “
Syrian refugees in Turkey and Contributions of Kimse Yok Mu Organization”.
During the award ceremony held in Clinton Presidential Library and Museum in Little Rock last week,
Kimse Yok Mu made a presentation about the aid activities towards the refugees.
More than 160 people consisting of academics and religious officials joined the 8th Annual Dialog and Friendship Dinner and Award Ceremony, organized by The Institute of Interfaith Dialog, Little Rock Arkansas Branch. Mr. Metin Çetiner, Vice President of Kimse Yok Mu, who was invited to USA as the main speaker of the Dinner, made a presentation providing information on the status of refugees in Turkey. Çetiner highlighted that the upcoming winter season would aggravate the conditions of Syrian refugees even more and said “ We, as Kimse Yok Mu, will always stand by those in need with our current and future aid activities”.
Priest Anthony Taylor, who visited Syrian refugees in Turkey, Jordan and Egypt, also shared his observations at the event. Taylor said the refugees camps in Turkey are like “Cadillac” compared to the camps in other countries. At the end of the night, Çetiner and Kimse Yok Mu were presented with a plaque of appreciation for their activities in Turkey and worldwide, and their aid activities towards the Syrian refugees.
