Sürat Education Tools introduces touch-screen table for schools

Sürat Eğitim Araçları (Sürat Education Tools) introduced its latest product -- the ActivTable -- which has been developed in conjunction with Promethean, a company offering technological solutions to benefit education, at the 13th CeBIT Exhibition on Friday.

The ActivTable, which was produced for the 4-11 age group, enables six students to work together interactively at the same time. The touch-screen table helps students gain skills and encourages them to take control of their own learning process. Sürat Education Tools, which operates under Kaynak Holding, combines education and technology while improving the learning environment of students.

Noting that most of technological tools or devices mean that children end up working on their own, Sürat Education Tools Marketing Manager Fahri Eren said that with the ActivTable students will become more socialized. Furthermore, it enables teachers to select the most suitable programs for each student and be able to control the learning environment more efficiently.

Eren explained that the table will help children learn about cooperation and solidarity while having fun at the same time. “This way the students will be able to keep up with technological developments as they are having fun,” he added.

The company also produces interactive tables and all kinds of tools to offer the best possible modern materials needed in the learning environment. Eren says schools choose such tools to ease group studies and increase student participation in classrooms.

Sürat Education Tools was established in 1990 and is currently one of the largest companies offering educational tools in the country. The company sells over 5,000 products.
