A Fidelity Evening Organized for Hekimoglu Ismail - A Man of Fidelity

Fans of the author Hekimoglu Ismail flocked to the ‘Fidelity Evening’ organized by the Journalists and Writers Foundation (JWF) and the Horizon Dialogue Association (HDA).

Asim Yildirim of Samanyolu Television hosted the night at the Firat Cultural Center. The program consisted of a video screening of the author's life as well as speakers describing Hekimoglu's writing adventures. There was readings from parts of the author's book Minyeli Abdullah. Azerbaijani and Indonesian students also read poems by the author.

There were many participants at the Fidelity evening, Hekimoglu Ismail himself, as well as Mustafa Yesil Chairman of the Journalists and Writers Foundation, Cemal Usak Foundation's Vice President, Mehmet Dogan Altin Koza University Education member, and many other loved ones of Hekimoglu. In the evening Cemal Usak and Mehmet Dogan both delivered speeches about the life and works of Hekimoglu. At the end of the program Hekimoglu was presented with a plaque and flowers. Mustafa Yesil the President of the Journalists and Writers Foundation presented a plaque made ​​of Iznik tiles form the restoration of the Ismail Al-Aqsa Mosque to Hekimoglu.

During his speech Hekimoglu said, "God creates and preserves everything. There is a difference between us and atheists. We say God, they say nature. God is the Creator of nature. God created water. Archimedes founded the lifting force. Archimedes' law must be a Muslim. Allah who created the stars and planets, also placed the force of attraction and repulsion among them. We may make aircraft, but we take refuge in Allah who created the fly and the world like an airplane. Science describes God's creations. There is no and can not be godless science."

Cemal Usak who spoke about the life and works of the author said, "when authors and illustrators reflect in their lives what they say and what they write they can be very influential. If the words are coming from your heart ,it will reach your counterparts heart as well. If the words are coming only from your lips, then it will not even enter you counterparts ear. The writing of Hekimoglu Ismail must have come from the depths of his heart to bring us here today." he said.
