His followers posted the prayer written by Gülen against the storm on herkul.org with a note. In the note it says Gülen and those who accompanied him during those days express their thanks to people who described their concerns for health of the Islamic scholar when Sandy swept the US East Coast.

The note also said Gülen wrote prayer against Sandy and told his friends to pray Allah for less damage in the state as officials expected the storm could inflict serious damage to Pennsylvania.
