Bağış urges journalists at iftar to contribute to Kimse Yok Mu

Turkish EU Affairs Minister Egemen Bağış, who shared an iftar (fast-breaking) dinner with veteran journalists in İstanbul's Beyazıt district on Wednesday, used the opportunity to urge the journalists to make a donation to Turkish charitable foundation Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anybody There).

Bağış was present with journalists such as Zaman Editor-in-Chief Ekrem Dumanlı, and Hürriyet daily Editor-in-Chief Enis Berberoğlu at the dinner, which was held at Çınaraltı Kahvesi in historic Beyazıt Square.

Following the iftar, before touring the Turkish Culture and Book Fair in Beyazıt, Bağış was invited to the stand of Kimse Yok Mu and donated money to the charity. He also urged the journalists present to donate money to the charity, reportedly saying that he admires the contribution made by Kimse Yok Mu. At the request of the minister, the journalists donated money to Kimse Yok Mu.
