Why are they attacking Fethullah Gulen?

Why would anyone attack a man who made Turkish a world language and one of solidarity, who has proven himself on the world stage and who has been the reason why children in places whose names we have not even heard of are singing the folk songs of this land?

What is the meaning of this nerve and this impudence? They are seeking the Gülen movement behind every plot and underneath every stone. Attacking Fethullah Gülen has turned into an incurable, chronic paranoia. The Gülen movement is the triumphant sound of the Anatolian people, who were for so many years oppressed. With all due respect, arguing against the Gülen movement amounts to arguing against humanity. Are not the melodies from their hearts rising from even the remotest corners of the world? Every person with even the slightest sense of shame should bow their head. The sounds of applause are being heard from all parts of the world, are you not hearing them?
