Project of free eye surgeries inaugurated

RAWALPINDI: Country Director Turkish Non Governmental Organization Kimse Yok MU Ozcan Inan along with Chairman REDO Sultan Hassan inaugurated a welfare project for deserving patients at Rawalpindi Eye Donors Organization’s Medical Complex, on Monday.

According to the issued press release Cap Maqbool, Mr. Hamayun Rashid, Nargis Mir, Dr. Sadia Mushtaq and volunteers of REDO also present.

Talking on the occasion Ozcan Inan informed that his organization working for education, health and social up lift projects in Pakistan since 2005 and thousands of people had been accommodated by expending millions of rupees.

He lauded the humanitarian services of REDO organization which had provided an infrastructure of state of art medical treatment facilities to the needy and deserving patients in Rawalpindi and Chakwal.

Chairman REDO Mr. Sultan Hassan said on the occasion that projects initiated both in REDO Medical Complex Rawalpindi and another health care services center established in rural area of Chakwal at Balkasar providing best medical treatment facilities to the patients.

He also mentioned the contributions of affluent personalities to share the cost of public welfare projects through donations. He informed that REDO is functioning on self help basis and millions of patients had been treated out of which most of them got medical treatment facilities free of cost.

Cap Maqbool and Mr.Haroon Rashid highlighted REDO services to facilitate patients who cannot afford medical treatment expenditures. Dr. Sadia Mushtaq, REDO Physician informed on the occasion that REDO is extending Kidney Dialysis, Lithotripsy, General Medical and Eye Treatment facilities besides conducting clinical tests at REDO Complex, Rawalpindi.
